Kitchen Counter Social Work is dedicated to holding space for BIPOC women, femmes, and non binary folks through their healing journeys by centering pleasure, joy, and holistic wellness.
Apart of our approach is assisting clients in cultivating a beautiful life that centers your pleasure, joy, and wellness. We do this by utilizing numerous approaches that blend the power of the arts, storytelling, embodied knowledge discourse, Black Feminism, radical world making, CBT, and so much more. I have over a decade of experience and history of working with folks navigating the intersections of race, class, gender, sexuality, disability, and other marginalized markers of identity.
As a Black Queer Feminist, Doula, and Social Worker, I practice from an abolitionist lens and rootedness in the Diaspora. I would be honored to be in community with you and hold space through your healing journey.
